Your blog is so relaxing and inspiring. I love to come here and read, listen to the music and just take some time to reflect. Thanks so much for this gift.
This has to be one of your most beautiful pieces..I love it!xo
Though we sometimes do not like or even recognize the reflection we see in the mirror…we must, at the very least, feel blessed that we can see our reflection at all.
Learning to love ourselves, as we are, is one of our greatest struggles..Why do we not see ourselves as God sees us….
Beautiful, Muse! I often laughed at my Dad when he told me 35 years ago, that he was shocked when he looked in the mirror and saw an old man looking back at him. Now as I look in the same mirror, I remember what he must have felt. We are as young as we feel and age is only a number. I can say that boldly now that my number is much higher It is the strength, hope, courage, faith that is within me that keeps me young. Thank you for this wonderful post!
Raquel~Thank you my friend … sometimes I do…other days perhaps not as much, so here is part of why I write! Thank you for seeing the light in me!
Lisa~You asked and you shall receive. Just let me know when and where….and I am so overjoyed that it has touched you!
Beth~You are welcome always … I hope you do find peace here, a quiet solace in the storm…hope you enjoyed the reading my friend!
Hello Tam,….Yes it is often very very hard to see ourselves as though who love us, see us. Made in the image of beauty of light…..
Greeting Michelle, Happy to hear your words and see that you too find the empowerment and peace here! You are welcome any time and happy too that you liked the work.
Lady Lynn, Yes…the clock ticks by…and we are looking through the same glass…striking opposed to the mirrored glass into which we peer. I refuse to have numbered candles upon my cake…I live the days, the moments…as unencumbered with numerical attributes as the law of physics (and medical science) will allow!
To my “PRIVATE E`MAILER”…. Thank you for all your kind words, and for sharing your insight with me. Your heartfelt sentiments and caring will not be forgotten.
I love this one! I, too, sometimes look in the mirror and wonder who the lady looking back is. You have captured this so eloquently. It does take strength, courage, faith, hope and humor to realize that you are not always who you think you are.
A world excursion to explore the characteristics and attributes of the modern renaissance woman…On the journey, The Muse will find wonderful treasures~discover hidden gems…And use them to help design her Painted Nest Cottage. Joyous Greetings From, Panasay de~Muse
