I whole~heartedly agree.
Words can poison, words can sting, words can crush…if they are used with ill will and malice.
And yet, the same pen can create love, joy, beauty and prose….it can spill words onto parchment so eloquent…the reader is taken to tears…
The difference lies within the author, the writer, the user…and that is indeed a power that can be mind chilling and yet so satisfying for the soul.
Love,
The Muse

Hello Lady du Jour,
Thank you for taking the time to respond to my question by publishing this post.
You’re a gifted writer. As you know, to whom much is given, much is respected and required.
Manchild
So true words can be posion…I think if we all think before we speak life would be so much better for us all.I feel words are to be used for wisdom and not to sting or hurt or scare anyone. Great Post Muse1
Manchild say it right to whom much is given, much is respected and required.
Lisa and Manchild I do so appreciate you both stopping in…today our lives are so consumed by doing and doing MORE…it is nice to think, to pause and contemplate the art of words….
It is a pleasure to read your blog. I often forget the art of words and how to use them appropriately. Sometimes I am too hurried to think about this, but you remind me
How nice Lady Language! I am certainly happy that anything I do can help inspire! Ah I yearn for the days when letter writing was an art and getting one was an event!
Thank you, Muse, for reminding us of the power of our words for good or evil..for encouragement or discouragement.
Love,
Jlo
