  Keeping it cozy in taupe ~ The defining pieces are the chandelier, once brass…no problem, spray painted black it warms up the space. Once heavy drapes replaced now with a simple pumpkin linen.   I have had loads of fun….the cupboards are actually now attached to the wall! And I adore the barn red paint glaze I made. For some added interest…I am toying with wood braid/twist molding. • ~Her Chair Was Just Right~

  Here is a little sitting area, at our home,  ”The Painted Nest”. We use it mostly as a place to put on and take off our shoes. The chair, a vintage flea market find for $2.00, was in bad shape visually, but quite sound, structurally. So, The Muse was quick to grab this treasure!
