Hear my faint and tender pleas…
Gently carried upon the breeze…
I grow cold and the world grows dark…
I can find no sparrows, finches or larks…
The trees give me no shelter, no haven to rest…
I search endless hours to find a warm nest…
The first to arrive, I am brave, yes I know…
But this little robin, doesn’t like the snow!

Happy Blue Monday…
(going to come back to the rhyme when my head isn’t full of mush, lol)
Pretty cage Muse. Happy Blue Monday!
I Love that bird cage…so lacy and sweet…
Hugs,

You wrote that at 12!!! I guess you’ve always been a writer, huh? It’s funny how some people know or are blessed with a gift at such a young age. My mother-in-law was a wonderful painter and she even had art work from when she was a girl. Me, I’m a gemini and I just flutter from one thing to the next. I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up.
But I am very impressed with your gift.
And I love that bird cage.
Yes! It is very lovely!
If I were a blue robin and had to live in a cage, I would want it to look very much like this one!
Very nice!! =)
The birdcage is so pretty!
Wow, it’s hard to imagine that you can write such a good poem at 12. You are so talented!!
The bird cage is so beautiful that I would use it for decoration in my living room rather than keeping birds.
Moreover, thank you The Muse for your caring for me. I’ve been busy during the last weekend because of the preparation work to celebrate the Chinese New Year, the 1st day of which is on 26th Jan. Share more with you later. Thanks!
What a gift you have. And I love that you share it with us. Kathy (and I love that birdcage, it’s beautiful)
I love the wire cage, Muse, but I’m more impressed by what you wrote at age 12! Musing even then… it was wonderful! Thanks for sharing!
XO,
Sheila
Love the picture Muse. Its pretty good.
I remember as a young girl anxiously awaiting the first sign of the robin…I knew then a symphony of floral beauty, warm breezes & joyful sounds were about to begin again.
I still get that same feeling every year when I finally see him. Robins & tulips!!
I too am very fond of the vintage birdcages…so artistic in design.
A lovely poem and the photo of the birdcage is so delicate and feminine.
Wow, you wrote that when you were 12? How beautiful! And I do love the cage.

Mornin’ Muse… I’ve allowed myself 1-hour of prime blogging time prior to re-entry to declutter phase and had to stop by to see what you’d posted…
I love the birdcage.. very unusual… but the poem… joy! I was thinking of birds today too when posting my Blue Monday…
have a blissful day… Dixie
What a sweetly arranged little bird cage. It needs a precious little birdy to live in it, with melodious song and an ever so thankful heart.
I love that you wrote this when you were 12 ;o) and I’m so glad you shared it.
Wow! that was serious prose for a 12 year old…!!!
Lovely picture to go with the prose…
I think bird cages are so beautiful to decorate with. This one is so pretty with the white and the blue. Happy Blue Monday!
Love the poem…and that picture is, oh, so pretty. Happy Blue Monday!
Wow, great poem for a 12 year old!
I did not know you liked Blue Panz LOL
The bird cage is very pretty.

Love that birdcage! And I’m very impressed that you wrote such an evocative poem at 12. Your talents were far greater than your years!
Your poem is so pretty and so is the birdcage. I love them both. You are so talented in many ways.
How wonderful you’ve kept your poetry from then! I love the birdcage, the soft little intricate coils and paleness of it all!
True talent is what you possess and it will always find a way to bubble forth ….
Very impressive poetry for a 12 year old. I would say you were born to write.
That is one of the most beautiful bird cages I’ve ever seen.
You’re so fancy!
I love love love birdcages… in fact.. I’ve decided that once I meet my goal weight (-160 lbs *i only have 19 to go!) then I’m getting a birdcage tattoo on my back with the door open and the little bird flying on my shoulder…
xo
Your vintage bird cage is as pretty as your rhyme.
My modum was sick and my local internet company is fixing it. Mr. Linky is up now; please come link in. Happy Blue Monday.
Happy Blue Monday!! The bird cage is so pretty.
The cage is very delicate and the poem quite good. I enjoyed my visit.
Happy Blue Monday
The birdcage and your words are lovely.
Happy MLK Day and Blue Monday!
Lovely pic! The wirework is amazing.
Such lovely words.
I have a beautiful song bird that sings for us every day, but I cannot wait for the first sign of spring with a little robin peaking around the corner. We have a mama that makes her nest under the eaves by our garage.
Happy Blue Monday
Claudie

So very beautiful Muse and your vintage birdcage is just perfect. Kathy.
I love it. Some of my best poems were written while I was 12 and 13.
Muse – I love your birdcage. Thanks for sharing the poem you wrote at 12. That is impressive. You were born with a God-given talent and it shines forth in all that you do.
Thank you for just being You!!!!

The bird cage is elegant. You were born with talent – to write such a beautiful song as such as young age is a gift. Happy Blue Monday!
