Spring ! She has burst forth Ever fruitful Ever bearing And all her beauty She is sharing… Amidst the cold And dark deep nights She slept In waiting For this, her plight… To linger with us But for a moment In time… Mere days To display Her greenery So fine! (a Muse piece written age 13, (a very good year…LOL) Miss you all… And Thank you for all the warm blessings and sweet hellos! Did you like this? Share it:Tweet

Let’s explore the cottage… I so want to paint that dark wall……….. The lamp was a broken little thing, cast off, unloved…I rewired it and added a 6 color aging…it just looks like it has been loved all it’s life now! And the shade..well my third shade (i am getting a wee bit better). Loved that blue and ……”antique cream” print, go figure…LOL When I was supposedly done, it did not look done…My beloved asked me…”where is the musey-ness?” Immediately, [...]
A peek in the corner… And what do I spy? A junk store table that only cost five. A lamp restored… To be much than before. Old silver relics… Loved through time… And now are mine. Old frame chipped and cracked… But I adore it…. That’s a fact! Little dishes hidden within… A cupboard Who was a has been…. A crafty shade… Made of odd bits… Look how it all sparkles… When softly it is lit! Did you like this? [...]

Not every rustic home, such as a log home has rustic furnishings. There are times when rustic applications such as stone and timbers will meet the flair of contemporary styles. In these sketches I show how the love of Italian modern pieces can be brought into the country getaway lifestyle. Did you like this? Share it:Tweet

~One Little Closet To Rule Them All~
Oooops! Forgot to take a true BEFORE~. But close your eyes and imagine the closet without the rich blue… Ok, that was easy enough! As you can see…the closet, all white, needed a serious design lift. So, out came the paint brushes and the paint. In the Muse’s cottage, if you stand still, long enough you are apt to get painted (that is simply a legend…a fable~one that has some basis of truth). lol The closet is a mere 30 inches [...]
~Painting My Own Kitchen Cabinets~
(camera date is not set~my apologies) After much thought, I have decided this Muse cannot live in a white kitchen(I appreciate them, and the beauty they posses)but, they simply are not Musey enough for me …so I have made my own paint mix…and now the beauty of creation begins! Farming begins with the love of the land… The use of the land is determined by topography. Trees are cherished and where there is new construction, there will soon be grass and landscaping. The wildlife will thrive with the addition of hearty vegetation. Birdhouses and other sanctuaries will be added, to aid the creatures, great and small. This is a small cycle of our farm, the actual metamorphosis…continues…as new life is constantly being added. The birds are cared for constantly [...]
(pictures follow) We are thankful that a marvelous Christmas season was had…one that allowed all of our family to be together, sons, daughters, grandchildren and my husband’s father. Dad has been in the hospital for weeks now and we miss him. We found out today that he has begun to bleed in his stomach again. The prognosis is not good. Our hearts are low. We think back to the last times we were all together…Christmas. A season of love. Very [...]
I have had loads of fun….the cupboards are actually now attached to the wall! And I adore the barn red paint glaze I made. For some added interest…I am toying with wood braid/twist molding. Do you like it? This little section is going to do something very special…it will hold a coffee maker… And we all know what an important appliance that is (don’t we)? LOL Did you like this? Official snow count…40 inches. Farming is hard work in the best of weather, but in winter…the true love of the craft comes to light. There is no one else in this world that has my undying adoration, than my beloved. He rises at 4 am…and works most days till hours not fit for man nor beast. The latest snow storm was so massive, that he had to walk the West 60 meadow to get a tractor. Why? Because the tractors [...]
Tablescape And Trash To Treasure All In One
Acres of hidden treasure… In boxes and bins… All holding hidden beauty… All latent~silent gems… Under piles amassed… A hoarder’s stash… Of would be~could be… And should have beens. The Muse gathered her coinage… And smartly thus… Bought a wondrous bounty… As to make pirates lust…. A silver teapot battered about… A bird whose wing was weak… Not secure or truly stout… Paper roses wrinkled and worn… Their edges thread tattered and torn… Potpourri whose scent had gone… Yes, the [...]

The architecture of the church is amazing…
Bravery at it’s finest…
With both photos…not only does the word WINTER come to mind, but more so the word PRAYER does…
One houses it and one requires it!!
Happy Outdoor Wednesday! Thanks for sharing a couple great photos!
Muse, that first photograph is gorgeous, and the second one is, too, but in a different way… how gorgeous is freedom and those who protect it.

Yes, its very possible!
Lovely photos. Your wordless Wednesday has left me speechless.
To me the first picture is where we ask for protection and the 2nd is how we receive it. Both beautiful photos unrelated at first but they are tied together both in the season and hope they exude.

The first one is Notre-Dame Cathedral isn’t it? I have only seen it during the day how lovely it looks at night all lit up.
The bottom one makes me think of my brother a member of the army reserves.
Excellent choices!

I bet the soldiers’ hearts are way more heavier than their uniforms and guns. When we have loved ones around us, every day is worth celebrating.
The Muse, the song i use in my video of orchid is a hymm called “Song of Joy” dedicated to wonderful friends like you.
