My First “Trash to Treasure Tuesday” ~ Picture
MMM…what is it? Perhaps an old vintage stove’s vent trim… The Muse loves circles…so as soon as it was “spied” for .25, it was soooo purchased on the spot! LOL We can all agree, this needs work! Paint brushes to the ready…(nothing is safe at the Painted Nest)! Copper, gold, and antique white…Paint on….wiped off…over & over (what fun!) And then at last…Inspiration! I have had loads of fun….the cupboards are actually now attached to the wall! And I adore the barn red paint glaze I made. For some added interest…I am toying with wood braid/twist molding. Here is a little sitting area, at our home, ”The Painted Nest”. We use it mostly as a place to put on and take off our shoes. The chair, a vintage flea market find for $2.00, was in bad shape visually, but quite sound, structurally. So, The Muse was quick to grab this treasure! It’s been awhile and I must say I miss your musings on my blog. Speaking of emotion umm I found out at the tail end about this grant. My idea is to photograph family around the world. The intimate and common bond that family thrives on. I need votes and wonder if you could perhaps help me rally these?
