Spring

Spring !
She has burst forth
Ever fruitful
Ever bearing
And all her beauty
She is sharing…
Amidst the cold
And dark deep nights
She slept
In waiting
For this, her plight…
To linger with us
But for a moment
In time…
Mere days
To display
Her greenery
So fine!

(a Muse piece written age 13, (a very good year…LOL)
Miss you all…
And Thank you for all the warm blessings and sweet hellos!

It’s so nice to see a post from my friend it must be at least three week since your last post. I have been eagerly waiting. I bet when you were a little girl you said on rocks like in your picture and wrote your poetry. What a lovely poem.

Dearest Muse… thanks for stopping by French Lique this week to catch up! It was a pleasure to see you again!

I love the young muse’s poem. I too wrote poetry when I was 13.. but I didn’t keep it… and now, I don’t much care to write poetry… but I do so enjoy reading it… especially yours…

    Dear Miss Muse,
What a fitting tribute to spring. Here, spring has barely begun before summer is peeking around corners trying to establish a foothold. God has truly given you the gift of encouragement. Thank you for stopping by my blog. I look forward to your visits.

Such a beautiful poem! 13 was a good year! I used to write poems when I was around that age. I had a notebook full but somehow misplaced them during my many moves. I wish that I could one day find them. Thanks for stopping by my blog! I don’t know how to twitter. I just started hearing about it recently. Maybe I will learn.
    Hugs,

  • Lee Laurie says:

Yes, I did prime the paneling first in all of my rooms except for my bedroom. I learned my lesson with that one. Always prime first! If you zoom in on the picture of my bed, you can see some scratches of the paint behind my headboard. That is where I sit and read at night or get on the computer. My hair clippy scratched the paint off there. I will touch it up one day. In the dining room and den, I put up paintable wallpaper first and then painted it because I didn’t want to see the paneling lines. Extra work but well worth it. Thanks for stopping by.
    Hugs,
    Lee Laurie

You wrote that at 13? Ok, that settles it…you can’t “learn” to write poetry…you have to be born with it! Wow…just 13…that’s amazing!
I was noticing all the comments about Twitter. I signed up to Twitter…but only left 1 or 2 tweets…then forgot about it. Recently I started leaving more tweets…it’s kind of fun…but a little silly. :-) Did you decide to Twitter, dear Muse?
