~One Little Closet To Rule Them All~

Oooops! Forgot to take a true BEFORE~. But close your eyes and imagine the closet without the rich blue…

Ok, that was easy enough! As you can see…the closet, all white, needed a serious design lift.

So, out came the paint brushes and the paint.  In the Muse’s cottage, if you stand still, long enough you are apt to get painted (that is simply a legend…a fable~one that has some basis of truth). lol

The closet is a mere 30 inches wide, so the actual act of painting the interior became more of acrobatic feat rather than an artistic one. The Muse tried to bribe her grandchildren into the “fun” of mini closet crawling….but alas, they have grown smarter with age.

After brushing on some blue a moment of second guessing occurred. If the closet was dull before, in white paint…was the blue alone going to do, to resolve that issue? The answer was nothing. Thus a time out was required. Research and thought…sketches, planning…and finally a pattern which could be loved for a lifetime, was devised.  The Muse is embracing her latest “Painted Nest” project.  Hoping one day, soon, it will hold her Nanny’s antique and vintage dish-ware, with pride.

I don’t recall ever being asked to paint or being painted, personally……but I do recall a night of fabric glue & soup can hemming…LOL LOL What fun!!
Can’t wait to see Nanny’s dishes displayed! Minus one tea cup, of course! xo
