Do you recall the warmth of the sun…
The gentle breezes…
The chirping of feathered friends?
Do you recall the sound of the water…
The bubbling brooks…
Or the swishing of the lake?
Do you recall the aroma of your garden…
The sounds of crickets…
The buzzing of bees?
Those days have gone…
They are wrapped in crystal cocoon..
A very ICY, FROZEN, COLD and WINTRY cocoon!
(oh, I need to change the camera date
…lol oh well at least it doesn’t say 1980’s)
I await the Metamorphosis of Spring…
Do you?

I have a vague recollection of those things. The snow is beautiful too though. laurie
Love your blog, so very peaceful tonight! Thank you.
Oh I cannot wait for those things….even the never ending task of cutting the grass!
Just heard we are to get more on Tues & Wed UGH!!!
Your words make me think of the song “Summer Breeze”. I think I miss the cricket song the most, that and fireflies.

Shall we plant in the garden together ms Regina?
Yes, Ms Susan, our farm tractors had to help the state snow plows!

Muse, I sure hope you’re feeling better. I’ve been thinking of you! And I love your pics and hope spring comes, too! Today, however, is like a cool spring day with sun shining and some azaleas are starting to poke their heads out. I think, however, we have cold temps headed for us mid week. It’s a roller coaster ride this year, is it not?
XO,
Sheila
Hoping you are feeling better and your cats and dogs aren’t scared any more!!! Oh the snow…it’s snowing in TN right now…we haven’t had very much this year…we’ve been lucky!!! Spring sounds like such a lovely lullaby right now!!!
I so look forward to the budding flowers, the little birds chirping, the smell and the feel of the dirt on my hands and the joy of seeing my garden bloom.
While I wait on these glorious things I will enjoy the warmth of my flannel pjs and fuzzy socks
I recall it all, an more (:)
