A light from above…
Her laughter is as sweet…
As a gentle turtledove.
She is Nanny’s angel…
With a round cherub face…
A piece of me which lives…
In this our moment of space.
She is Nanny’s angel…
But she is so much more…
A pearl within an oyster….
From heaven’s holy shore.
Love Always,
To My Grand-Daughter
Your Nanny

Muse! Nanny Muse…we must be related…I am also called Nanny by my grands! She is absolutely beautiful and I love your sweet poem to her. Perfect Pink for Pink Saturday. I had no idea there was a little grandmuse in your life. You are a lucky Muse indeed! xoxo Nancy/Nanny
What a sweetheart! They are all so precious when they’re asleep. Thank you for sharing your little angel!

Thank you for stopping by my blog & leaving such lovely comments! It was a great project to work on. The funny thing it smelled so bad of smoke when I opened it, it lived in my garage while it stayed with me…(it came from Europe of coarse!)
Your child is so cute! What a lovely picture! You can tell how proud of her you are. Your art and blogs are amazing! I will be back often!

Oh to sleep so peacefully like that without a care in the world! She is beautiful Muse! HPS
How did I miss this blog of yours?? Have I been hidden under a snowbank all winter? or what?
Hello Muse,
Nanny’s angel is just perfect all dressed in PiNk! :0)
I guess I get lost in all the blogs I visit because I’m now wondering HOW I missed this other blog of yours! Must be one of “those moments” when I miss something important. :0)
I’m a follower now so I’ll keep up..hehe!!
Thanks for coming over for a visit…yes, my Thomas still courts me. :0) Now that he’s home full time I’ll be “surprized” with flowers every week. :0) I have many bags of dried rose petals. I generally photograph them while fresh to use later in some creative way.

What a precious post. She does look like a sweet, sleeping angel. Oh, that sweet little bow of a mouth, and that dimpled chin! She’s adorable, and your love just oozes from every word. Kathy
(btw, that is not THE bridge, it is an unused bridge over Lake Georgetown. This is the spot where I dodged the birdie deposits lol. And where we got locked in by the gatekeeper. But that is another story …)
I am just sitting here trying to explain how I feel about your beautiful Muse. I have no words except beautiful! I’m so glad I have entered into your blog.
Muse, how absolutely priceless. Love your poem, and I agree, an angel in pink.
Hugs, Jeanne
