  Farming begins with the love of the land… The use of the land is determined by topography. Trees are cherished and where there is new construction, there will soon be grass and landscaping. The wildlife will thrive with the addition of hearty vegetation.  Birdhouses and other sanctuaries will be added, to aid the creatures, great and small.   Here is the Muse’s tuffet. A flea market find bought for one solitary dollar. Now certainly you cannot imagine that a muse of any good reputation can let that piece of treasure remain in the cottage without adding layer upon layer… that’s right it is time to musefi~! Isn’t it just grand?

• ~Painting My Own Kitchen Cabinets~

  (camera date is not set~my apologies) After much thought, I have decided this Muse cannot live in a white kitchen(I appreciate them, and the beauty they posses)but, they simply are not Musey enough for me …so I have made my own paint mix…and now the beauty of creation begins!

• ~Colored Pencil Sketches~

  Not every rustic home, such as a log home has rustic furnishings. There are times when rustic applications such as stone and timbers will meet the flair of contemporary styles. In these sketches I show how the love of Italian modern pieces can be brought into the country getaway lifestyle.  

• ~A Bit of Home~

  The little parlor in The Painted Nest, is waiting… she lingers between fall and winter. Thanksgiving will find her adorned in deep rust reds. Her memory table drawer will be redone… with new treasures of family heritage. In this old room, new memories will be made. New pillows will adorn her feather sofa. Little hearts filled with expectation will giggle and shout. I love the word “home”, don’t you?
