• ~Little Miss Muffet~

  Here is the Muse’s tuffet. A flea market find bought for one solitary dollar. Now certainly you cannot imagine that a muse of any good reputation can let that piece of treasure remain in the cottage without adding layer upon layer… that’s right it is time to musefi~! Isn’t it just grand?

• ~Clucking~

  A farm gal Muse has lot’s to do… She tromps through mud in boots not shoes. Our little feathered cuties need lots of care… Warm fall sun and cool crisp air. Clucking and chirping a barn yard tune… They sing until they spy the moon! (aren’t they cute?)

  There are always rooms and spaces at The Painted Nest which need some sprucing up. Our beloved cottage is in a constant state of  “creation”. And I love it, I certainly do For me, color is my companion. So imagine my beloved’s shock, when this color palette was placed before him! Admittedly, this would be a new path for me. The Muse has creamy antique white accents throughout her cottage…but there is not a room which totally embraces the hue. [...]

• My First “Trash to Treasure Tuesday” ~ Picture

  MMM…what is it? Perhaps an old vintage stove’s vent trim… The Muse loves circles…so as soon as it was “spied” for .25, it was soooo purchased on the spot! LOL We can all agree, this needs work! Paint brushes to the ready…(nothing is safe at the Painted Nest)! Copper, gold, and antique white…Paint on….wiped off…over & over (what fun!) And then at last…Inspiration!
