  I dream…yes, I dream of sounds; fish splashing, birds chirping, darting to and fro…I dream of the lake…the sound of our boat churning…the grandchildren’s laughter as they swim…All those lovely sounds. Then, I dream of scents. The lush aromas of lovely gardens that have my mark…of raw wood that has aged for decades

  Here I sit. Out my cottage window is a winter wonderland of sorts…icy drapes, snuggle my evergreens.  Here I sit. I long for warmth on my face…I long to walk in my beloved woods.

  Official snow count…40 inches. Farming is hard work in the best of weather, but in winter…the true love of the craft comes to light.  There is no one else in this world that has my undying adoration, than my beloved.
