  The little parlor in The Painted Nest, is waiting… she lingers between fall and winter. Thanksgiving will find her adorned in deep rust reds. Her memory table drawer will be redone… with new treasures of family heritage. In this old room, new memories will be made. New pillows will adorn her feather sofa.   There are always rooms and spaces at The Painted Nest which need some sprucing up. Our beloved cottage is in a constant state of  “creation”. And I love it, I certainly do For me, color is my companion. So imagine my beloved’s shock, when this color palette was placed before him! Admittedly, this would be a new path for me. The Muse has creamy antique white accents throughout her cottage…but there is not a room which totally embraces the hue. [...]
