I am not really sure that you can put a specific design name to The Painted Nest. Our cottage doesn’t fall into one style category, for it reflects not only our farm life…but our outside interests. (click pics to enlarge~if you dare!) Items we have gathered on our travels here and abroad…fill our home…as well as wondrous treasures passed from generation to generation. There are always rooms and spaces at The Painted Nest which need some sprucing up. Our beloved cottage is in a constant state of “creation”. And I love it, I certainly do For me, color is my companion. So imagine my beloved’s shock, when this color palette was placed before him! Admittedly, this would be a new path for me. The Muse has creamy antique white accents throughout her cottage…but there is not a room which totally embraces the hue. [...]
